Behind the Glass Gallery takes place at Farmhouse Table on Friday

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A special First Friday art showcase was held Friday night at Farmhouse Table in Rochester.

Behind the Glass Gallery featured a group exhibition by students from Todd Stahl’s Studio in Art class at Webster Thomas High School. The event, called “Their Eyes Our Hands,” ran from 6 to 8 p.m. at Farmhouse Table on South Clinton.

Curators say this collaboration allows artists to flex their creative muscle and highlight the city of Rochester.

“What they can see this month at Behind the Glass are some great interpretations of scenes around Rochester — scenes that are known like Kodak, the Kodak building but also scenes that are down alleyways and just other really cool areas of Rochester,” said Quajay Donnell, curator and cofounder of Behind the Glass Gallery.

This is the fourth season of the Behind the Glass Gallery. Its mission is to amplify voices and works of underrepresented artists in Rochester.
