Birmingham Police wrote on X that the Utilita Arena in Birmingham was evacuated on Friday evening.
A 19-year-old man is in custody and the venue is being searched, the force added.
According to the BBC, the gig was halted after the comic had been performing for 45 minutes.
Clips on social media show people heading for exits at the gig.In a statement, the force said: “We are carrying out an evacuation at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham after a potential suspicious bag was found.
“A 19-year-old man is in custody and as a precaution the site is currently subject of a search.”
