First Alert Weather: Tracking frosty mornings and more wet weather ahead

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – After yesterday’s dousing of rain, we’re in for a mostly cloudy and cool day as an upper level low spins overhead. There’s a slight chance of showers this morning, then again this afternoon, but it will be mainly dry overall. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s.

Tomorrow more rain is in the forecast… And so is frost. Overnight temperatures will reach the mid 30s, and there is a frost advisory for all in the region except for Yates and Seneca County. Make sure to take in any sensitive plants tonight. We’ll warm up to the low 50s again tomorrow, but rain will be falling in the afternoon mainly south of Rochester.

Morning temperatures stay chilly Saturday AND Sunday morning, so leave the plants inside. Saturday starts cold, dry, and sunny, but more chances for light rain showers in the afternoon as highs only reach the upper 40s. Sunday will be dry and mostly sunny, but still cool with highs in the low 50s.

A multitude of rain chances throughout next week with temperatures remaining below average. This may lead to flooding concerns at times, so we’re tracking that very closely and will keep you updated.
