NINGNING of aespa has a savage new brand partnership on her resume, with Gucci announcing Wednesday (April 29) that it has appointed the K-pop star to be a global ambassador for the fashion house.

Releasing a batch of sleek photos showing NINGNING modeling a chic black dress, a white pantsuit and a cream jacket over a black workout set, Gucci revealed that the performer will assist the brand in widening its reach around the world. “Known for her distinctive style and bold artistic identity, she is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the brand’s evolving global narrative,” reads the press release.
“I’m honored and excited to be named a Global Brand Ambassador for Gucci, a brand with over 100 years of craftsmanship,” NINGNING said in a statement. “I grew up fascinated by Gucci, and it doesn’t feel real that I get to help bring the House’s designs to new generations and tastes.”
Known for being on the cutting edge of fashion in the K-pop world, aespa’s members have been popular collaborators among legacy style houses. In 2024, Karina was named an ambassador for Prada, and Winter accepted the same role for Polo Ralph Lauren the year prior. LOEWE ambassador Giselle also recently posed for a spring/summer 2026 campaign for the designer retailer.
The quartet is currently gearing up to drop its second album, LEMONADE, on May 29, arriving about two years after first full-length Armageddon reached No. 25 on the Billboard 200. In March, the group dropped single “Attitude.”
This August, aespa will embark on a world tour lasting through early 2027.
