ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — New information has emerged about the investigation into vandalism at the Bills’ new stadium.
News10NBC’s Buffalo affiliate reports some of the vandalism was cleaned up before the Erie County Sheriff’s Office started investigating it. Citing emails between the Bills and New York State, the affiliate reports the state struggled to get even basic information about the vandalism.
The vandalism happened over a weekend in February, but the state, which owns the land, wasn’t told about it until the following Monday night. The discovery of the vandalism prompted a four-day pause on construction.
