‘The Hunger Games’ Deluxe Edition Coming in November 2026
Like the Sunrise on the Reaping movie, the new version of the 2008 YA dystopian novel will come out in November. However, it’s going to be a little earlier, with November 3, 2026 to put in your diaries.
It’s only the first novel in the series to get this deluxe print, with two mockingjays facing off against each other with a backing of mockingjay feathers and a bright gold circle to make the two birds stand out. Along the edges of the book is a gorgeous print of flowers, and when you open the initial cover, you’ll see the full print of the two mockingjays with feathers falling around them.
Along with the image are a foil-stamped slipcase, a foil cover, and a ribbon bookmark so you never lose your place. On the inside, there’s a District 12 family tree, so you can easily figure out how everyone is connected as we head back to the District in the prequel movie.

That’s not all. As well as a deluxe edition of The Hunger Games, fans of the universe will be able to get the trade paperback of Sunrise on the Reaping on August 4, 2026. There will also be a movie tie-in edition released on September 1, 2026, ahead of the movie.
If you’re a fan of the third and final book in the first trilogy, then you’ll be excited to hear that there’s a new illustrated version coming. A Mockingjay illustrated edition will arrive on shelves on October 6, 2026.
Also coming on September 1 is the five-book boxset featuring the entire Collins universe. You can work your way through the three Hunger Games novels, re-read President Snow’s beginnings, and then head into the world of Haymitch’s games.
