7 Little Johnstons star Brice Bolden practiced his wedding speech with "help" from Liz Johnston's brothers, Jonah and Alex — and cardboard cutouts of other family members.
Ahead of the Tuesday, April 28 episode, TLC shared an exclusive sneak peek with Parade of Brice rehearsing the speech he would make at his wedding reception.

"To my parents, thank you for your love, encouragement and guidance throughout my life. I love y'all very much," the soon-to-be groom said while holding a microphone, as Jonah and Alex sat in chairs as his audience. He continued, "To my fiancé's family, um, let's see..." before losing his spot and trailing off.
In a confessional with producers, Brice admitted, "So, speeches have always made me nervous… [of] me accidentally messing up, and then now I got all of these people laughing at me. Just looking at the whole crowd just gives me the shivers."
Liz's longtime boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Leighton, continued his practice speech. "To my fiancé's family, I am committed to cherishing and caring for your daughter for the rest of my life," he said.
As Jonah offered feedback to Brice, sharing, "I mean, the speech length's perfect. Just, when you can, after each paragraph, look up and make eye contact with people. I've got a way to help you out with eye contact. Let me go and get some 'people' that we want to invite out."
Alex added, "I'll go help you with those."

"I was only ready to say the speech in front of Jonah and Alex, so I was thinking, I'm like, 'OK, who could this be coming out?'" Brice told producers.
That's when Jonah and Alex revealed cardboard cutouts of their mom, Amber Johnston, and sisters, Emma and Liz. "So these are actual scale," Jonah joked as he held up a definitely not-to-scale cardboard image of his mother.
Brice explained to producers, "They bring out cardboard pictures of them, and I just started laughing. Most of the reason because of their faces." To Alex and Jonah, he pointed out, "Amber's got, like, the whatever face."
