Billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein abused women he housed in London flats, according to reports.
The BBC claims it found evidence the women lived in the flats, all within affluent borough of the capital, in receipts, emails and bank records contained within the Epstein files.
They are alleged to have been abused after they were flown into the UK by Epstein from abroad.
Police are approaching “every victim” of Epstein amid the claims that they were failed while he was still alive, The i Paper understands.
We take a look at five of the new claims about Epstein’s sex-trafficking crimes in UK.
Epstein housed women he abused in four London flats
The BBC’s investigation found evidence that the women lived four flats situated within the boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea.
Epstein sent Skype messages to a young Russian woman who was living in one of the flats – just months before he was arrested on charges of trafficking children for sex, and his death in jail ahead of his trial over the offences..
In 2019 exchange, the woman asked Epstein for money to fund her English classes in London and help buy cutlery and furniture for the apartment. She also asked for visa advice for another Russian woman who was due to stay with her at the property.
Details about a flat rented in 2018 and 2019 were found in a 10,000-page credit card bill, which detailed daily living expenses of the woman staying there.
She is said to have had her own card on Epstein’s account with a $2,000 (£1,477) monthly allowance.
Emails showed that some flats were so crowded women had to sleep on sofas and that Epstein was angry when they complained about the living conditions.

Six of the women housed in the homes have claimed they were abused by Epstein.
Details about the young women have not been published to protect their anonymity as the victims of sexual abuse.
There are now around a dozen police forces, as well as the National Crime Agency (NCA), investigating allegations relating to Epstein, including how he was able to bring victims in the UK via private planes into various airports and whether charges can be brought against those who may have facilitated abuse.
Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor on suspicion of misconduct in public office following revelations unearthed in the Epstein files about his time as a trade envoy.
It is understood the force is also continuing to make “an assessment” on separate claims from alleged victims that they were trafficked into the UK to have sex with Andrew. He denies any wrongdoing.
Many victims were brought to UK after Virginia Giuffre made sex trafficking allegations
A lot of the victims were allegedly brought to the UK in the years following a decision in 2015 by the Met Police not to investigate Epstein despite claims being made by victim Virginia Giuffre.
Giuffre, who took her own life last year aged 41, alleged she was trafficked into the UK by Epstein when she was 17 to have sex with Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor, claims he has vigorously denied.
The Met said it followed “reasonable lines of inquiry” at the time, interviewing Giuffre on multiple occasions following her complaint and co-operating with US investigators.
However Harriet Wistrich, founder of the Centre for Women’s Justice, says the failure to investigate Epstein in 2015 could have meant that more women were trafficked into the UK to be abused.“What we see with Epstein is this extraordinary, organised crime, across many countries including the UK, which was left largely unchallenged despite the number of victims involved,” she told Radio 4’s Today programme.
Kerry Brighouse at anti-trafficking charity Hope for Justice said the revelations exposing Epstein’s homes in the UK show that “investigations could and should have proceeded” when allegations of trafficking were first made against Epstein.
“We urge the Government and police to invest properly [in the police], take seriously both historic and ongoing offences, and ensure investigations proceed – to secure justice for survivors, and to prevent further harm,”
Some of those housed in London were coerced to recruit other women
Some of the women housed in the London flats were coerced by Epstein to recruit others into his sex trafficking scheme, according to the investigation.
As part of the probe, millions of pages of records gathered by the US Department of Justice and released in the Epstein files, were analysed.
It is claimed this showed Epstein’s operation grew more extensive than was previously known. There are said to be more victims of his abuse, as well of use of established infrastructure like housing, and women regularly being transported across borders
Ciara Bergman, the chief executive of Rape Crisis England & Wales, said the probe showed the survivors of Epstein’s abuse were “dismissed” and “badly let down” by authorities.
“It is now crucial to ensure robust accountability, long-term support for those affected, and a culture where abuse is recognised and challenged at every level,” she said.
Women were regularly transported to Paris by Eurostar
Epstein used the Eurostar to move some of the women out of the UK until his arrest by US authorities in July 2019.
The number of tickets he bought for the women on the high-speed rail service reportedly steadily increased in the final years of his life.
Epstein purchased at least 53 tickets to transport them between France and England from 2011 to 2019, some of which were discounted fares available to under-25s.
He bought 33 tickets after Giuffre made her 2015 complaint of trafficking, receipts are alleged to show.
In the six months leading up to his death on 10 August 10, 2019, Epstein moved women in and out of London by Eurostar 10 times.
One of the woman were transported to London just 16 days before his arrest, while others later came forward as victims of Epstein, their lawyers confirmed to the BBC.
