Delane was considered one of the top defensive backs in the NFL Draft entering tonight. He broke up 11 passes for the Tigers in 2025 and recorded a pair of interceptions and 45 tackles (28 solo). Before transferring to LSU for his senior season, Delane spent three seasons at Virginia Tech, where he logged six interceptions and 16 passes defended.
Tennessee’s Jermod McCoy is also considered a top cornerback in the class, but there have been concerns with his knee. Kansas City lands a big piece for their secondary early here on night one in Delane.
