IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to prison for breaking into someone’s home and raping them in 2024.
Francisco Alberto Perez-Ozuna pleaded guilty to burglary, robbery, and rape, all in the first degrees. He was sentenced 20 years in prison, plus 20 years post-release supervision.
Irondequoit Police say on Nov. 4, 2024, they got a call from a 60 year old who had reported they had been raped at knifepoint. Police say Perez-Ozuna opened the victim’s door, went in, assaulted the victim, and then raped them.
The victim called 911 after Perez-Ozuna left. After investigating, the Rochester Police SWAT Team took Perez-Ozuna into custody without incident at his apartment.
Police say at the time of Perez-Ozuna’s arrest, he had two outstanding warrants with the Rochester Police Department.
