ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Lollypop Farm will once again host a series of events to get pets vaccinated and connect pet owners in underserved areas in Rochester with resources.
Lollypop Farm has announced four community pet care events, starting in May at the David F. Gannt R-Center. The events will include core vaccinations and free pet food and supplies. There will also be experts on hand to guide behavior, training, and more.
The first event will begin at 10 a.m. All events will run through 2 p.m. or until supplies last. Here’s the schedule:
Wednesday, May 6 (dogs only) at the David F. Gannt R-Center Thursday, Aug. 20 (cats only) at the Hochstein School Thursday, Sept. 3 (dogs only) at the Connected Communities Neighborhood Hub Tuesday, Oct. 6 (dogs only) at the People’s PantryLast year, Lollypop Farm gave out 2,000 vaccines, 65% more compared to last year. It also gave out nearly 6,000 pounds of pet food across five community pet care events.
