BRIGHTON, N.Y. — School leaders in Brighton will hold informational sessions on the Brighton High School Athletic fields construction Wednesday.
They will talk about the soil conditions, testing and the district’s work with environmental engineers, after neighbors raised questions about materials on nearby properties.

Environmental consultants continue to collect and analyze samples since contractors discovered arsenic, mercury, and lead during construction in January.

The sessions are set for 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Brighton School District Offices on Monroe Avenue.
