SOLVANG, Calif. (KEYT) - A fire that took place at a former Solvang restaurant a year and half ago has just been declared arson.
Investigators at the Santa Barbara County Fire Department are looking for three individuals believed to be juveniles.
Officials say three individuals believed to be local to the Santa Ynez Valley and appearing to be minors are seen in pictures from the night of the blaze on December 5th, 2024.
Investigators have determined these three kids intentionally set the fire to what was Sear Steakhouse on Fourth Place.
Images show them leaving the building fifteen minutes prior to the start of the fire.
They are then seen crossing the street and joining spectators watching the fire.
The county fire department released the declaration of arson on Monday, and are asking the public’s help to identify the three individuals.
Anyone who recognizes the three youths or has any other information is encouraged to contact investigators.
