Happy anniversary! Another 10-year anniversary. Gonna be a lot of those this year.
Sure, it was Jake Arrieta’s no-hitter – his second in a very short time – that got most of the attention ten years ago on this day, but really, the whole thing was an absolute drubbing of the Reds. Do you remember it? The Cubs won that game 16-0, Kris Bryant had four hits (including two homers) and drove in six, Arrieta himself had a couple hits and a walk. It was just a ridiculous game end to end.
