MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. — On Tuesday, golf courses at Durand Eastman, Genesee Valley, and Churchville will open to begin the 2026 season.
Residents of Monroe County can participate in lessons, tournaments, and leagues at the courses.
“Monroe County’s three affordable and accessible public golf courses add to the tremendous quality of life residents here enjoy throughout warmer months,” said County Executive Bello. “I encourage everyone, no matter your skill level, to take advantage of the warm weather ahead and hit the links.”
There is free permits for discounted greens fees for seniors age 62 and up.
Driving ranges will eventually reopen, but are subject to the wet conditions. Active military, veterans, people with disabilities, and those under 18 will also have discounted fees. People can apply for free permits at any of the three courses.
