Big & Rich and Bret Michaels will be the headliners for the major grandstand concerts at this year’s Canfield Fair.
Big & Rich will be joined by Diamond Rio for a Sept. 6 concert, and Michaels will close the festival on Labor Day, Sept. 7, with Donnie Iris & the Cruisers as his opening act.
According to George Roman, fair board director in charge of entertainment, “Having powerhouse country stars, Big & Rich and Diamond Rio on Sunday night will have everyone on their feet singing along, while Monday night features local favorites Donnie Iris and Bret Michaels bringing a rock ‘n’ roll energy to the grandstand that will be different than we’ve seen in the past few years. Each year I am excited for fair week to arrive, but as we celebrate our 180th Fair and the 250th birthday of our country, this year is going to be even more special.”
Tickets for Big & Rich range from $39 to $125 (plus applicable fees) and tickets for Bret Michaels range from $25 to $99 (plus fees). Both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday exclusively through Ticketmaster. An online only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: ROOSTER.
No tickets will be sold at the Canfield Fair Box Office until later this summer.
