ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Two women were taken to the hospital after their car crashed and rolled over, leaving them trapped, on Dewey Avenue near Emerson Street.
Rochester Police say the driver is charged with DWI. Officers say their car was heading around a curve when it crashed into a telephone pole’s guidewire and a fence around 12:15 a.m. on Monday. News10NBC’s photojournalist saw crews rip the car door off.
After the Rochester Fire Department rescued the two people inside, an ambulance took them to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries. Check back for any updates.
