Moby is donating all the money he’s making from his Coachella 2026 performances to four different animal rights organization.
The producer announced the news on Thursday (April 16) via social media, saying that “My main job in life is working as an animal rights activist, and to that end my hope is to use the revenue and attention from my Coachella show to draw attention to, and financially support, animal rights organizations.”

Moby will play the Mojave again on Friday (April 17) for the festival’s second weekend. For those not in attendance at the fest, the show will also be available to see worldwide via the festival’s YouTube livestream.
The money Moby is making from these shows will go to four different animal rights organizations: Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, Humane League, Mercy for Animals and Direct Action Everywhere. The artist noted that he picked these four “because they do very unique interesting things in the world of animal rights. To be clear, there are hundreds if not thousands of amazing animal rights organizations, but I just wanted to focus on these four for now.”
