The NCAA transfer portal is in full swing and eight additional swimmers and divers have announced new homes for the 2026-2027 season. The portal closes Friday, April 24th for women and Friday, May 1 for men, with a few exceptions (grad transfers, coaching staff changes, etc).

    Will Huggins from Southern Illinois to Florida State Huggins was 2nd in the 200 free (1:34.91), 100 back (47.14), and 200 back (1:44.21) at the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Championships. His 200 free would have been 6th for FSU this past season. Nicole Christensen from TCU to Houston Christensen represents Venezuela at the international level and was 34th in the IM events as well as 41st in the 200 breast at 2026 Big 12s. She swam a lifetime best 2:18.06 200 breast in January at the Big 12 East Championship. Victor Hugo Cury from Gardner Webb to West Virginia Cury was 2nd in the 500 free with a 4:23.85 at the 2026 ASUN Championships. He also was 3rd in the 400 IM with a 3:50.79 Braden Ripken from Division III Gustavus Adolphus to Georgetown Ripken swam to a MIAC title in the 100 breast with a 53.76. That time would have led Georgetown’s roster this past season. Noah Wanzer from NC State to Delaware (Diving) Wanzer was not on NC State’s roster this past season but will restart his college career at Delaware. Sammy Cummins from Kansas to Saint Mary’s College Cummins was 14th in the 200 fly (2:01.94) at the 2026 Big 12 Championships but will return to her home state with Saint Mary’s College who will be in their first season this fall. San Askin from Youngstown State to Eastern Illinois Askin was highlighted by a 9th place finish in the 1650 free at the 2026 Horizon League Championships. Jena Kistler from Washington State to Pepperdine Kistler did not swim at the 2026 Mountain West Championships and saw her season bests come at midseason with a 1:04.76 100 breast, 2:19.91 200 breast, and a 2:08.08 200 IM
