Denver Broncos Mile High Sports Mock Draft 1.0

The NFL Draft is next Thursday and the Denver Broncos won’t have a pick on the first day of the event. We’ll be conducting only two mock drafts in the build-up, and this one is the first.

In this mock draft, the Denver Broncos hold onto every single one of their picks.

Using Pro Football Network’s Mock Draft simulator, this is how the board fell in our five-round mock simulation.

Round 2, Pick 62: Caleb Banks, DT – Florida

This is a draft where the Broncos aren’t likely to draft a Day 1 starter because of the current depth of this roster — a roster that is returning 71 of 73 players who were on Denver’s active roster and practice squad last season. The two new additions are obviously Jaylen Waddle and Tycen Anderson.

Caleb Banks is the selection here. Denver adds a defensive lineman in the second round, who is a round one talent. Injuries are a major reason for his potential slide, missing most of 2025 last season at Florida with a foot injury and then suffering a broken foot at the NFL Combine. Despite suffering an injury at the combine, Banks’ numbers are insane.

At 6’6, 330 pounds, Banks has 35-inch arms, a 32-inch vertical jump, and a 9’6″ broad jump. He’s strong at the point of attack and has blue-chip strength traits.

“He has overwhelming size, length, and forklift power, to pair with inhuman burst and quickness at that size,” his PFN scouting report reads. “His rare raw talent has grandfathered him into the “stack-and-shed nightmare” category, and he flashes excellence as a pass-rusher with swims, swipes, and long-arms.”

Eyioma Uwazurike is entering the final year of his contract, D.J. Jones has this year and next year remaining, and both George Paton and Sean Payton haven’t been shy about saying they’ll always look to upgrade the trenches on both sides of the ball.

Banks may not start in year one, but could start in 2027, while playing a significant role as a rotational player as a rookie if selected.

Round 4, Pick 108: Eli Raridon, TE – Notre Dame

Even though the Broncos brought back their tight end room from last season, adding a high upside tight end is important for this season and beyond. Evan Engram is entering the last year of his deal, and Nate Adkins is back on a one-year deal, but the Broncos offense needs some upside at the tight end position.

At 6 foot 7, 251 pounds, he offers immediate value as a blocker and receiving threat. His best game in 2025 came against NC State, hauling in seven catches for 109 yards. He didn’t have a receiving touchdown in 2025, but proved to be a chain mover for Notre Dame when targeted, averaging 15.1 yards per catch last season.

He joins Engram, Adkins, Adam Trautman, and Caleb Lohner going into the summer in this mock draft.

Round 4, Pick 111: Kyle Louis, LB – Pittsburgh

Denver’s linebacker depth gets a much-needed boost defensively, and more importantly, on special teams. Kyle Louis can be an immediate special teams contributor this season as he gets more ingrained in Vance Joseph’s unit, sitting behind Alex Singleton, Justin Strnad, and Jonah Elliss.

Drew Sanders is facing a make-or-break summer, and players like Karene Reid, Jordan Turner, and Levelle Bailey will all be competing for a potential depth spot on the 53-man roster.

Louis had 79 tackles in 10 games last season, three sacks, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, and two interceptions. He was one player who stood out during Senior Bowl practices, showcasing the ability to cover well in specific one-on-one drills against both running backs and tight ends. He has elite-level speed that could help him thrive in today’s NFL, sideline to sideline.

The biggest question facing Louis is his height, coming in at 6 feet. He’s viewed as undersized at linebacker, but he makes up for that with his athleticism and strong football IQ.

Round 5, Pick 170: Adam Randall, RB – Clemson

The Broncos add a 6-foot-2, 230-pound weapon who can bring value in both the run and pass game. Randall made the switch from WR to RB in 2025 and had over 1000 all-purpose yards.

He had 858 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground last season, averaging 5.0 yards per carry. His size, physicality, and athletic traits are things that Sean Payton and Lou Ayeni could work to build on in this current running back room that features J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey, Tyler Badie, Jaleel McLaughlin, Cody Schrader, and Deuce Vaughn.

With only one season under his belt at running back, one of the biggest critiques facing him is inconsistency with his vision as a ball carrier. But he makes up for that with his athleticism, explosiveness, and size.

This is a chance pick, with Denver taking a chance on a player who adds depth to their current roster and has the chance to develop into something down the line.

Denver then rounded out their draft in this mock with three seventh-round picks. Iowa linebacker Karson Sharar, Duke edge rusher Wesley Williams, and Wisconsin offensive tackle Riley Mahlman.
