ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Kodak is expanding its motion picture film portfolio with a new color negative motion picture film stock.
The company announced it’s offering a film called “Verita 200-D 5206 7206.” The film was developed in close collaboration with Sam Levinson, creator of HBO‘s hit drama series “Euphoria.”
The film was used to achieve a distinct visual look for that show’s third season. Kodak said the film provides high color saturation, deep blacks and warm, natural skin tones.
This year, various movies nominated for an Oscar had been shot on Kodak film. Kodak remains the sole global producer of color motion picture film and makes almost all of its film products in Rochester at the Eastman Business Park.
