Other moments captured by the lip reader included when William first saw Kate arriving at the head of the aisle at Westminster Abbey. The first words deciphered were by William's brother and best man, Prince Harry.

"Right, here she is now," Harry told his brother. As Kate met William at the altar, he told her, "You look lovely. You look beautiful."
William then reportedly joked with Kate's father, Michael Middleton, about the 1900 guests who attended the wedding ceremony at the Abbey. "We're supposed to have just a small family affair."
Later, as Kate and William made their first appearance as a married couple on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside other senior royals such as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, then-Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles, they exchanged more private words.
