Lindt is joining the swarms of companies using Tax Day as a reason to offer deals and discounts on one of its most popular collections.
So far, brands like Goldfish, Krispy Kreme, Subway and Qdoba are offering customers super cheap and sometimes free eats in a playful nod to the deadline for individuals to file their annual income taxes. Now, Parade has learned the cult-favorite chocolatier is following suit and giving online customers access to limited-time discounts on some of its most popular, uber-exclusive Lindor truffles, in addition to slashing the prices of its now out-of-season Easter candy—talk about a sweet deal!
For a limited time ahead of Tax Day (which falls on Wednesday, April 15, this year), Lindt is hosting a special Tax Day Savings event that scores customers hundreds of Lindor truffles at a fraction of their regular price—best of all, fans aren't limited to just one flavor.
Here's how it works: First, you'll need to head over to the Lindt Chocolate website. Then scroll over to its Pick and Mix selection, where you can choose from all sorts of Lindt packaging (its iconic gift wrap, seasonal spring designs, decorative bowls, etc.), but in order to score the Tax Day savings, you'll want to select either the 100 (on sale for $46, usually $53), 200 (on sale for $85, usually $97), or 300-piece package (on sale for $120, usually $140) of the custom Lindor Pick and Mix Box.

Once the size is set, guests can add any Lindor Truffle flavors they want—from seasonal faves to new limited-time offers and even hard-to-find flavors exclusive to Lindt stores—in increments of 25.
Each truffle comes out to a little over 40 cents on sale, which is a better price than the standard Lindor truffles regularly go for at Walmart. That said, all but one of the on-sale orders will qualify for free shipping ($65 minimum), so if you're eyeing the 100-piece package, prepare to tack on some delivery fees (or another box of chocolate).
Lindt Chocolate Fans Can Also Save Big on Easter Candy
Lindt's Easter candy collection has also been marked down online, with the company currently offering up to 50 percent off seasonal treats like its Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Carrots (on sale for $3.50, regularly $7.20), Milk Chocolate Mini Hard Shell Eggs (on sale for $4.50, regularly $8.99), and its new Dubai Chocolate-inspired Eggs (on sale for $6.99, regularly $13.99).
Additionally, Lindt is currently running a limited-time Buy-3-Get-1-Free promotion on select qualifying seasonal merchandise (like this multipack of Mini Gold Bunnies).
