It's the moment fans have been waiting for, Busch Light Apple is officially returning to store shelves—and soon!
The popular flavored lager, which has lovingly been dubbed "Bapple," was previously confirmed to return this year. However, at the time of the original announcement made in January, the Anheuser-Busch brand wasn't ready to reveal when it would be available again. But all of that changes today.
"Last year’s return of Busch Light Apple created a frenzy among fans, and the excitement only kept building when we announced it was coming back again this year," Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing at Busch Family & Natural Family, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch, shared in a statement. "Our fans made it clear just how much they missed that crisp, refreshing apple flavor, so bringing it back was an easy decision. We’re excited to give them another chance to enjoy the Busch Light Apple they’ve been asking for."
Busch Light Apple Officially Returns This Month
If Busch Light Apple is completely new to you, all you need to know is that it's described as "a refreshing-to-the-core light lager with a crisp apple flavor, offering a touch of sweetness on the front end and a clean, smooth beer finish on the back end." It's brewed with a 4.1 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), so it's not as intense as some other options on the market.
Since the limited-edition lager's initial debut in 2020, fans have rallied for it. Last year, 1.2 million cases were sold in the first month alone, according todata reviewed by Anhueser-Busch, and it was named the #1 LTO Innovation of 2025. The company also said the return of Busch Light Apple helped expand the beer category last year and make it more approachable, with "27 percent of sales coming from shoppers new to the category."

"Last year, I told everyone to stock up on Busch Light Apple, and I followed my own advice," Wayne joked. "Safe to say this investment has paid off big time. I’m thrilled Busch Light Apple is coming back in 2026 so everyone can get in on the action. This is one investment you can’t go wrong with."
Where to Find Busch Light's Apple Lager
Busch Light Apple is rolling out nationwide now, according to Monday's announcement, and is expected to be available at regular Busch retailers (in packs of six, 12, and 30) by the end of the month—but only for a limited time this season (prices may vary). To find it at a store near you, try the online Busch Light product locator.
Whether the company plans to bring back Busch Light Lime—which stole fans' hearts when it debuted last June—or introduce another new flavor this year remains unclear, though we expect to learn more as we get closer to the official start of summer.
