ROSE, N.Y. — Multiple fire companies responded to a house fire in the Town of Rose in Wayne County Friday night.
According to the Clyde-Galen Fire District, crews responded to a house on Wolcott Road just before 10 p.m. Friday. When they got there, they found heavy fire coming from the back of the home.
Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies were also at the scene. They say two adults and two children evacuated safely from the home, and were brought to Strong Memorial Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
Other fire departments that responded included Rose, North Rose, Wallington, Alton, Savannah, Wolcott, and Sodus.
