ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A cool start to our weekend as high pressure settles in overhead… But that high pressure will also be clearing our skies leading to plenty of sunshine for the afternoon and evening! Highs will be in the upper 40s, which is about 5 degrees below normal. Not too bad. Make sure to get out and enjoy it, because it will be a while before we see a day as sunny as this!
Tomorrow a warmer-but-wetter pattern begins which will last through most of next week. Light rain begins in the late morning/early afternoon, with the heaviest showers arriving middle of the afternoon. No severe weather or flooding threat, so we remain Green on the Threat Tracker. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s, but it will be difficult to enjoy it properly.
Temperatures stay consistently warm through next week with multiple days rising to the 70s… But expect repeated bouts of rain, even thunder. No severe weather is expected at this time, but if that looks to change we will be the first to let you know.
