ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to criminally negligent homicide in a shooting last May inside a home in the Upper Falls neighborhood.
A judge this week sentenced Jordan Figueroa-Olivo to three-and-a-half to four years in prison. He pleaded guilty to killing Delwin Aponte-Charbonier, 19, who he lived with at the home on Ward Street near Clinton Avenue.
After the shooting, a private car took Aponte-Charbonier to the hospital, where he later died. Days later, Figueroa-Olivo turned himself in to the police with his attorney.
