Spectrum Aquatics Weekly Wonders of Age Group Swimming: 4/11/2026

    Lillie Dirito, 13, York YMCA (MA): Dirito set six new personal best times at the YMCA National Short Course Championships last weekend in Greensboro, climbing to the top of the seasonal rankings for 13-year-old girls in two events. Dirito now ranks 1st this season among 13-year-old girls in the 50 back (25.61) and 100 back (53.67), and she also moves to 2nd in the 100 free (50.40) and 200 back (1:57.76),  4th in the 50 free (23.67) and 5th in the 200 IM (2:02.32).

    Harrington Morgan, 12, North Coast Aquatics (SI): Morgan fired off eight best times at the Southwest Age Group Regional Championships two weeks ago in Fresno, climbing into the top-15 in the boys’ 11-12 age group this season in six of them. Morgan dropped nearly three and a half seconds in the 200 breast, clocking 2:18.54 to rank 8th in the 11-12 age group this season. He also set bests to rank 12th in the 200 fly (2:06.41), 13th in the 400 IM (4:30.25), 14th in the 50 fly (25.09), and 15th in both the 50 back (26.50) and 100 fly (55.98). The North Coast Aquatics product also set bests in the 100 free (53.12) and 100 breast (1:05.62).

    Addie Farrier, 10, Clearwater Aquatic Team (FL): Farrier had a standout performance at the ISCA East Coast Elite Showcase meet, moving up in the all-time rankings for 10 & under girls in three of them. Farrier’s headlining swim came in the 100 fly, where she set a best time of 1:02.14 to rank 1st this season among 10 & under girls and 32nd all-time. She also moved to 70th all-time and 2nd this season in the 50 free (26.17), and 89th all-time and 2nd this season in the 100 back (1:04.01). Additionally, she moves to 5th in the 100 free (57.80), 7th in the 50 back (30.38) and 8th in the 500 free (5:39.37) among 10 & under girls this season.

    Gabriel Brown, 10, Fishers Area Swimming Tigers (FL): Also racing at the ISCA East Coast Elite Showcase, Brown set four best times, moving near the top of the all-time rankings for 10 & under boys in three of them. Brown rocketed up to #3 all-time in the 10 & under age group in both the 200 free (1:56.78) and 200 IM (2:11.66), and he also clocked 1:02.69 in the 100 IM to rank 11th. In his other PB swim, Brown went 28.21 in the 50 fly to rank 77th in the age group all-time. This season, Brown ranks 1st among 10 & unders in the 200 free, 2nd in both IMs, and 7th in the 50 fly.

    Ella Dziobak, 17, dROP Aquatics (MI): Dziobak set five new dROP Aquatics records across the NCSA Spring Championships in mid-March and the Michigan ULTRA Championships two weeks later, setting a combined seven best times. The 17-year-old set new club records for 15-18 girls in the 500 free (4:54.60), 1000 free (10:01.71) and 400 IM (4:19.52) at NCSAs, and then followed up by resetting the marks in the 200 back (2:05.40) and 200 IM (2:05.68) at the Michigan ULTRA Championships. The Purdue commit also set new best times in the 200 fly (2:02.75) and 1650 free (17:03.74).
