GENEVA, N.Y. — Parts of the Seneca lakefront in Geneva are temporarily closed because of high water levels and other damages.
City officials posted on social media about the closures, and said the damage is a result of recent weather. This includes sinkholes along the path, forcing the closure of the boat launch and access to the concrete steps.
Crews are also working to clear debris left behind as a result of the high water levels.
The city says it doesn’t have an exact timeframe for reopening as crews continue to assess the damage. We’ll keep you posted one we get more updates.
