VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – Local law enforcement is turning to the public for help identifying the body of a man found Monday in the Santa Clara River bottom near the Lirio Avenue extension in Saticoy.
On April 6, the body of an adult man was discovered in the Santa Clara River bed near the Lirio Extension in the 1900 block of Lirio Avenue stated a press release Wednesday from the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
There were no signs of fatal trauma and the man is described as 5'1", around 105-115 pounds, and around 20-30 years of age shared the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, no personal belongings were found near where the man was located and he was dressed in a camouflage jacket, dark jeans, and black shoes when he was recovered Monday.
