Actress Tori Spelling is speaking out publicly for the first time since it was reported she was involved in a collision with seven children in her car a few days ago. Spelling recounts parts of the harrowing experience that she and the kids went through and expresses gratitude to first responders, hospital staff, and well wishers.
In a video posted to her Instagram, the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, who's clearly shaken up, confirms that she, four of her children, and three friends of her children were traveling by car in Temecula, California just a few days before Easter.
"The driver that hit us was speeding, was going crazy, crazy fast. We believe he went through a light," she shares. "Guardian angels were definitely with us that day because, in a split second, I looked to my right, and I saw he was coming full on, full impact into the side of our car. And I turned hard left, as hard as I could, as fast as I could to avoid as much impact on the children as possible. He spun us out."
Thankfully, Spelling explains, everyone in the car is doing okay after being treated following the collision at the Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California.

"We're OK, but it's been really overwhelming. We are so grateful and so lucky because it could have been so much worse."
Spelling takes time in the video to thank first responders on the scene and hospital workers at Inland Valley Hospital who cared for her and the children that evening. She also thanks friend and well wishers who have reached out with kind words and blessings.
She ends her video saying she has "so much gratitude for life and the bravery of all of the kids in the car with what they went through."
Spelling captions her video: "Grateful to all the first responders, to everyone that has reached out and checked on us, to all of you and your prayers, and to our guardian angels ✨♥️"
