PERINTON, N.Y. — Monroe County is gearing up for a major summer music festival.
The Hoochenanny Festival returns this August, bringing live music, craft whiskey and local makers to Perinton’s Center Park West. Organizers revealed the musical lineup this morning, including headliners My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Lit and The Toadies, along with multiple other bands including Guster, Cracker, and Tommy Brunett’s All-Star Cavalcade of Scoundrels.
The three-day event will also include several New York distilleries and food vendors. Organizers expect the festival to draw thousands to the area.
“This is more than just a festival. When you think of what Hoochenanny really represents, it’s community coming together. It’s also — as other speakers have said — it’s an economic engine for our community,” Monroe County Executive Adam Bello said.
The fest runs from Aug. 14 through 16 at Center Park West in Perinton. Tickets are available at hoochenanny.com/.
