As a punt returner, he averaged nine yards per attempt on his way to 153 yards on 17 punts.
Thomas only returned one kick last year but paced the SEC in kick return yards (633), return touchdowns (one) and returns (24) the season prior.
The 5-foot-10, 190-pound wide receiver did not appear in ESPN analyst Matt Miller’s seven-round mock draft published March 30.
Thomas did, however, turn heads with a blazing 4.28-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine. That was good enough for second among participating wide receivers behind only Mississippi State’s Brenen Thompson.
The 6-foot-7, 318-pound Barber is coming off his fifth and final season at Florida. He appeared in 50 games for the Gators during that span. He allowed 11 sacks and 10 QB hits, according to Pro Football Focus.
The lineman has primarily played left tackle the past three seasons but did get some run on the opposite side from 2021-22.
Barber added a 5.12-second 40-yard dash and 32-inch vertical at the combine.
Miller projected Barber to land with the Miami Dolphins in the fourth round (No. 130) of his mock draft.
