2026 ISI Winter 11-14 Age Group Championships
March 12-16, 2026 Rec Plex, Pleasant Prairie, WI SCY (25 yards) “2026 ISI Winter 11-14 Age Group Championships” on Meet Mobile14-year-olds Lubo Liu-Tchorbadjiyski of New Trier Aquatics and Hudson Labinsky of Maverick Swim Club were two of the top performers at the 2026 Illinois LSC 11-14 Championships, as both found themselves atop the podium on multiple occasions, dropping major times in those efforts.
Liu-Tchorbadjiyski picked up wins in both sprint butterfly events, swimming best times in both the 50 and 100 butterfly races. His 50 fly marked the first time he had ever been under 24 seconds, demolishing his former best time of 24.28 from the RISE A+ Meet in late January to win here in 22.24, a more than two-second improvement over that performance. He also saw a big drop in the 100 fly, winning in 50.19, more than a second and a half faster than he was at that RISE A+ Meet in January in 51.79.
Labinsky claimed three event wins of his own, notably sweeping the sprint freestyle races in career bests of 20.76 and 46.79. He was also the fastest performer in the 100 back, where he shaved more than two seconds off of his pre-meet best of 54.17 to win here in 51.44. Labinsky also touched just behind Liu-Tchorbadjiyski in the 50 and 100 fly races, swimming lifetime bests of 22.33 and 50.27, respectively.
On the women’s side, Chicago Wolfpack Aquatic Club’s Harper Rauch, 13, was untouchable in the distance events, sweeping the 500 free (4:53.06), 1000 free (10:07.89), and 1650 Free (16:45.00). Her 500 free was more than five seconds better than her previous best of 4:59.01 from the MSC Winter Invitational in late January.
Both the 1000 free and 1650 free were also big drops for Rausch, dropping nearly eight seconds from her pre-meet 10:15.63 from that Winter Invitational, while the 1650 free was also more than 11 seconds quicker than her former 16:56.48 from January.
RISE Aquatic Club’s Isla Rapcan,13, was an untouchable force in the women’s breaststroke events, picking up wins in the 50 (29.43), 100 (1:03.05), and 200 breast (2:18.71). Her 100 breast was the only career best she swam out of those three races, dropping two tenths to 1:03.05.
Other Notable Performances:
13-year-old Ali Beran only nabbed one win at these championships, but dropped over eight tenths faster than her previous best in the 50 back to win in 26.37. RISE Aquatics’ Jackson Chan, 12, was a dominant force at this meet, winning all seven of his individual events; including the 50 free (23.45), 50 back (25.78), 100 back (56.55), 200 Back (2:01.97), 50 fly (24.58), 100 fly (54.59), and 100 IM (58.96).
