Thanks in large part to 12 quick points from Miller, Chicago held its own in the first quarter, with both teams submitting 30-point frames. The Suns pulled away a bit in the second period, notching a slight 63-56 edge at the halftime break.

An 11-0 Bulls run shrank the Suns’ margin in the third quarter for no reason. Phoenix, of course, boasts a couple cheap-foul artists in Dillon Brooks and Grayson Allen, both of whom found their availability limited late as they drummed up five personal foul calls a piece from some unsympathetic refs.
Mac McClung hurt his leg when he landed awkwardly on Jordan Goodwin’s foot midway through the fourth quarter. Could he also be shut down for the season soon?
The Suns Put The Bulls Out of Their Misery With A Final Closing Kick
The contest was, eerily, a one-possession game (111-108 Suns) with a smidge over two minutes to play, but thankfully a 9-2 Suns closing run courtesy mostly of Devin Booker, Jalen Green and Mark Williams helped wrap things up for good.
Chicago fell by double digits, 120-110, and dropped its seventh straight with an eye on the 2026 NBA Draft lottery.
Jones led the way for Chicago, mostly scoring inside to notch 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 shooting from the foul line, plus six assists, three rebounds and two steals.

Miller finished with a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double, and now looks like clearly the most valuable long-term piece added in the team’s various trade deadline deals — with apologies to Rob Dillingham and, uh, Jaden Ivey.
Like Jones, Miller thrives in the paint. He’s also got a surprisingly adept handle for a big.
