ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after being hit by a car on Lyell Avenue near Child Street on Monday. Rochester Police say it happened just before 1 a.m., and the driver stayed at the scene.
Investigators say the man suddenly entered the road, possibly after experiencing a medical condition. However, it’s still unclear if the medical condition contributed.
An ambulance took the man to the hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries. News10NBC’s photojournalist briefly saw the road closed down. RPD is continuing to investigate, but has not filed any charges.
