As we get to the end of March, most teams in the NHL have around ten games remaining on their regular season schedule. Some teams are starting to cement their playoff position, some teams are battling on the bubble, and others are just trying to get thru the rest of their schedule. So what better time for another 2026 NHL Mock Draft?
The order at the top of our mock draft continues to change. And it likely will until the end of the regular season, and then again we’ll have to wait for the 2026 NHL Draft Lottery on May 5. But, for now, we can take another run at projecting how the first two rounds could play out in June.
Again, a reminder of the first-round draft order: the NHL gave the Ottawa Senators a pick — but it has to be 32nd overall, and they can’t trade up. They had previously forfeited the pick because of the botched Evgenii Dadonov trade to the Vegas Golden Knights in July 2021.
