ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The driver of a car was taken to the hospital after a pickup truck crashed into a home and a shed on Ridgeway Avenue Saturday morning, according to information provided at the scene.
The Monroe County dispatch website indicates the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. A pickup truck was lodged in the front of the home, and another vehicle was also towed from the scene.
The truck’s driver told a NEWS10NBC photojournalist he swerved to avoid hitting another car at the intersection of Ridgeway Avenue and Primrose Street, striking the house instead.
Officials have not yet released information on the cause of the initial crash or the extent of the injuries.
