It appears the Chicago Blackhawks are adding another prospect to the mix. Center Jiří Felcman has signed a PTO contract with the Rockford IceHogs.
Felcman, who will turn 21 on April 17, was originally a third-round pick (No. 93) by the Blackhawks in the 2023 NHL Draft. He appeared in 52 games this season with the SC Langnau Tigers of the National League — the top Swiss league — and his stock climbed.
He’s listed as a 6-4 center who’s a trip to Chipotle from being 200 pounds, so good size down the middle. After a strong season, Felcman will finish the season with Rockford.
