Good morning, Bulls fans, it’s game day.
Tonight, the team hits the road to the City of Brotherly Love, where the Philadelphia 76ers are set to host the Bulls. The Sixers may be shorthanded, but they’re still in position to climb out of the play-in and into a true playoff spot, and they could make that jump tonight.
Meanwhile, on Tank Watch: the Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks are deadlocked with identical records — and both teams are in action. Today could be a moment that finally creates separation, deciding who ends up with the ninth and tenth-best odds in the 2026 NBA Draft Lottery.

© Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images Last night, a Bull made history. Mac McClung, who is on a two-way contract with Chicago, is now the all-time leading scorer in NBA G League history. He passed Renaldo Major to take the top spot. Mac has been incredible in the G League and is on track to win his second MVP. In the game where he broke the scoring record, he dropped a career-high 59 points along with 10 assists. Funnily enough, stat lines like this have been the norm for him all season.“I’m truly grateful for tonight,” Mac said via his Instagram stories. “My entire pro career, I’ve made it a priority to kill any ego and make the most of whatever situation I’ve been put in. Some really cool things can happen when you’re present and enjoy becoming.”
It’s unfortunate that he hasn’t found a real spot in the NBA yet. Especially considering he’s basically completed the G League and still isn’t seen as good enough for a full NBA contract. I really wish the Bulls had given him some run time when the roster was dealing with injuries. Hopefully, when the league expands and two more teams are added, players with this level of talent won’t keep getting left off NBA rosters. The G League’s new scoring king! ?@windycitybulls and @chicagobulls Two-Way star Mac McClung has passed Renaldo Major (5,299) to become the G League’s all-time leading scorer across the Tip-Off Tournament, regular season, and playoffs. pic.twitter.com/OipnwBSneI
— NBA G League (@nbagleague) March 25, 2026 While Chicago has had opportunities to give bigger roles to players like Josh Giddey, Leonard Miller, and Rob Dillingham, former players have been finding greener pastures after leaving the Bulls.Let’s check in on some of the guys who were let go or moved at the deadline and see what they’re doing with their new teams. Starting with Jevon Carter, who was a true end-of-the-rotation guy for the Bulls this season, playing just 23 games at around 11 minutes a night, mostly in garbage time, is now a key rotational piece for the Orlando Magic, a team that’s had tough luck at the guard spot. Last night, he tied his season-high with 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting and is clearly getting more opportunity in Orlando than he ever did in Chicago this season. Coby White, who was traded to the Charlotte Hornets, just played his 12th game for them last night—and he was on fire. In just 18 minutes off the bench, he put up 27 points on 9-of-12 shooting, including six made threes. That marks his fourth 20+ point game as a Hornet. He’s now averaging 16 points and 4 assists while shooting 40% from deep in under 20 minutes per game. During that stretch, the Hornets have gone 9–3. If Coby had been in Charlotte all season producing like this, he’d likely be the frontrunner for Sixth Man of the Year.COBY WHITE TONIGHT:27 POINTS9/12 FGM6/8 3PM3/3 FTM+26 +/-ONLY 18 MINUTES. ?? pic.twitter.com/gKm8EYWuwd
— Hoop Central (@TheHoopCentral) March 25, 2026 And finally, Chicago’s own Ayo Dosunmu. In his last five games with the Minnesota Timberwolves, he’s averaging 19 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal per game, all while shooting an absurd 54% from three. With Anthony Edwards out, Ayo has stepped into the starting role and taken his game to another level. He even finished as a runner-up for Player of the Week and might just be the piece Minnesota needed to go from a playoff team to a true contender. And in return for all of these guys, and more, the Bulls have Leonard Miller and a bunch of second round picks to show for it. How charitable from Chicago!Other nominees…West: Deni Avdija and Donovan Clingan (POR), Ayo Dosunmu and Rudy Gobert (MIN), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (OKC), Amen Thompson (HOU) and Victor Wembanyama (SAS)East: Nickeil Alexander-Walker (ATL), Jaylen Brown (BOS), Jalen Duren (DET), James Harden and Evan… t.co/5PLtAxdsnQ
— NBA Communications (@NBAPR) March 23, 2026 And finally, tomorrow tips off the first four games of the Sweet 16, and four of the top guards in the 2026 NBA Draft will be on display, a must-watch for Bulls fans. First up is Darius Acuff and Arkansas taking on Brayden Burries and Arizona. The hottest player in the tournament versus one of the best teams in the country, this one has all the makings of something special. And then you have a top-ten defense in the Houston Cougars, led by freshman guard Kingston Flemings, going head-to-head with the best offense in the country, the Fighting Illini, led by Keaton Wagler. Two teams, each powered by a superstar guard, but built on completely different identities and game plans. Defense versus offense, this one feels like it could come down to the final possessions.Thursday will be a meeting of two of the best freshman in America: Illinois' Keaton Wagler vs Houston's Kingston Flemings.Flemings: "He plays with his own pace, it's hard to speed him up. He's the engine to their offensive… He just gets to wherever he wants to get to."… pic.twitter.com/yNtezGYSYO
