2026 Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association Swimming and Diving Championships
Feb. 24-28, 2026 Newark, DE SCY (25 yards) ResultsThe gold standard for high school swimming in Delaware continues to be the Ursuline Academy girls and the Salesianum boys.
Ursuline Academy won its fourth straight title, finishing 96 points ahead of runner-up Charter School of Wilmington.
Salesianum also won handily, finishing 141 points ahead of runner-up Charter School of Wilmington.

Ursuline Academy was led by junior Mia Devlin, who picked up an individual win in the 100 back in a lifetime best of 56.64 while also placing 3rd in the 200 IM (2:07.42).
In the 200 medley relay, Devlin led off in 26.96—after setting a 50 back best time of 26.63 in the prelims— to help Ursuline Academy win in a time of 1:50.63. Other team members were Mia Thayer on breast (31.91), McKinley Jefferson on fly (27.31) and Sammie Weinert on free (24.25).
The individual standouts were Tower Hill junior Annika Jorgensen and Caesar Rodney freshman Payton Garnsey.
Jorgensen won the 200 free in a personal best time of 1:51.81 after finishing 2nd last year, and then repeated as champion in the 100 free with a time of 52.01.
Garnsey claimed the 200 IM in 2:04.23 and the 100 breast in 1:02.92, both personal best times.
Other event winners were:
Cape Henlopen junior Mia Jaoude won the 50 free in 23.90 after finishing 2nd last year. Padua Academy freshman Sophia Witkowski won the 1-meter diving event with 391.85 points. Anna Karanjia of Conrad School of Science won the 100 fly with a time of 56.05. Sussex Academy junior Anna Mumford, a Connecticut commit, repeated as champion in the 500 free with a time of 5:00.83. The 200 free relay was won by Cape Henlopen’s team of Sidney Caldwell (25.53), Lily Touw (25.75), Isla Touw (24.90) and Jaoude (23.35) in a time of 1:39.53. Urseline Academy won the 400 free relay in a time of 3:37.81 behind the team of Taylor Aiello (54.44), Alaina Hoffman (54.92), Kendyl Freeman (54.46) and McKinley Jefferson (53.99).Girls’ Team Standings — Top 5

Leading the way for Salesianum was senior Tim Hanway, a Loyola commit who won his third straight title in the 500 free in a time of 4:35.46.
Hanway was also a part of two winning relay teams.
In the 200 free relay, Hanway split 22.15 on the second leg to help Salesianum win in a time of 4:35.46. Other team members were Dylan Ristenbatt (21.52), Bradley Woolpert (21.68) and Emery Hess (21.41).
In the 400 free relay, Hanway led off in 48.52 for a team that won in 3:09.80. The rest of the Salesianum squad was comprised of Woolpart (47.13), Ian Chan (47.28) and Hess (46.87).
The multi-event winners were Appoquinimink senior Grady Redding and St. Mark’s junior Aidan Walsh.
Committed to Delaware, Redding won the 200 free in 1:38.51 and the 100 fly in 48.38, both personal best times.
Walsh won the 200 IM in 1:52.10 after taking 2nd last year, and then won the 100 back in 50.41. Both were personal best times.
Other event winners were:
Charter School of Wilmington won the 200 medley relay in a time of 1:34.57 behind the team of Emil Lehmann (24.03), Xiaomiao Hu (25.92), Aaron Markey (22.39) and Andrew Konkle (22.23). Tower Hills senior Blake Erkenbrecher repeated as champion in the 50 free with a personal best time of 20.77. Newark Charter junior James Beukema claimed the 1-meter diving title with 383.20 points. Tower Hill senior Jamie Brinsfield repeated as champion in the 100 free with a time of 44.89. Hu, a junior at Charter School of Wilmington, won the 100 breast in a personal best time of 57.78.Boys’ Team Standings — Top 5
