GENEVA, N.Y. — A person was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital after Geneva Police say they were shot at a home on Reed Street in Geneva.
Police say they responded to the home at around 3 a.m. Sunday for a report of shots fired. When officers got there, they say learned there was a large after-hours party at the home where a shooting happened.
The area was secured and police say several 9mm handgun casings were found outside the home. They also say people at the party weren’t cooperating with officers.
The victim shot was initially brought to Geneva General Hospital by private vehicle with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. From there, the victim was then flown via Mercy Flight to Strong.
Police say this was an isolated incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Steve Vine at 315-828-6784.
