In a new statement shared via Savannah’s Instagram that same day, the family—signed by Nancy’s children Savannah, Annie, and Camron, along with their spouses—thanked supporters while asking for renewed attention in the search.

No detail is too small. It may be the key,” the statement reads.
They continued, “We miss our mom with every breath and we cannot be in peace until she is home. We cannot grieve; we can only ache and wonder. Our focus is solely on finding her and bringing her home.”

Savannah has understandably stepped away from her role on Today amid the ongoing situation. She and Kotb shared the anchor desk for nearly a decade before Kotb stepped down earlier this year, but their close bond has remained evident.
And Savannah made a brief return to Today earlier this month, marking her first appearance at the studio since her mother was abducted. On March 5, the longtime anchor stopped by Studio 1A in New York City to reconnect with colleagues and express her gratitude for their support.
“Savannah Guthrie stopped by the studio this morning to be with and thank her Today colleagues,” the network said in a statement. “While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home.” Video from the visit showed an emotional reunion, with Savannah embracing several of her coworkers.
