A shooting in the Bronzeville neighborhood Saturday left one man dead and two others injured, Chicago police said.
According to authorities, three men were standing outside in the 200 block of East 38th Street at approximately 9:05 p.m. Saturday when an unknown assailant opened fire.
Police said a 39-year-old man was shot in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A second victim was shot in the neck, and was taken to an area hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Chicago police also reported a third victim, a 35-year-old man, who was shot in the knee and was listed in good condition.
No suspects are in custody, and an investigation remains underway.
