Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Saturday accusedthe United States of pursuing control over the world’s natural resourcesthrough coups, kidnappings, and assassinations targeting leaders ofresource-rich nations.
In a televised speech, Lavrov portrayed Washington as actingindependently of external constraints and driven primarily by its owninterests, describing the American approach as centered on securing economicand strategic advantages, particularly in energy.
