Comic Relief 2026 has raised an incredible £30 million thanks to fundraising efforts in a huge night of comedy, entertainment and music.
The total was confirmed by Davina McCall during last night's extravaganza, with the presenter announcing: "The total raised tonight is a whopping £30,004,040. Thank you so, so much, and thank you for your incredible generosity."
Though it's important to note that some local fundraisers are still ongoing, so the above figure is likely to increase in the coming weeks.
Comic Relief also shared its gratitude in a post on social media, writing: "Together we've raised a staggering £30,004,040!
"We cannot overstate the life-changing impact this will have for people who need support the most - here in the UK and across the world. Your generosity will be transformed into the essentials every person deserves. Food to eat, a safe place to sleep, and the chance to live free from fear and harm.
"Thank you so much for your incredible donations, fundraising and support for Red Nose Day 2026, we're truly grateful to everyone who got involved. Together, we are creating real and lasting change!
"It's not too late to make a difference. Please donate if you can."
The broadcast was hosted by McCall, who was joined by Katherine Ryan, Nick Mohammed, Joel Dommett and Catherine Tate as Nan from The Catherine Tate Show.
It featured sketches aplenty, including The Bank Job starring Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, and The Traitors: The Movie sequel starring Iain Stirling, Vicky Pattison, Alison Steadman and recent contestants Rachel, Stephen and Fiona.
View oEmbed on the source websiteAnd it didn't stop there as Katherine Ryan and Jon Richardson channeled their inner Cathy and Heathcliff in a Wuthering Heights sketch.
Elsewhere, Lucy Punch and Philippa Dunne reprised their roles as Amanda and Anne in an Amandaland sketch, bringing together some of TV's most notable Amandas.
Earlier in the day, BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James completed his 1,000km endurance tandem cycle across the UK, in which he raised over £4 million.
As the final leg of the race concluded, James told Radio 1's Jack Saunders: "It's been such a struggle at times but everyone has got me through it. The thing I'll remember the most is seeing the joy from everyone and pushing through the pain to get to that joy."
