Georgia guard Jordan Ross was initially listed as questionable for the Bulldogs’ NCAA Tournament first-round game against Saint Louis in Buffalo on Thursday.
When the pregame availability report came out, though, Ross wasn’t on it, per 247Sports’ Jordan D. Hill. The junior guard has the green light to play for the Dawgs against the Billikens.
Ross, in his first season with Georgia after two seasons at Saint Mary’s, has appeared in 31 games and started 25 during the 2025-26 season. In 20.9 minutes per game, he’s averaging 6.6 points and 2.4 assists. He did miss the game against South Carolina on Feb. 28 with an ankle injury, but has appeared in every game since.
Meanwhile, the Dawgs are in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time since 1996 and 1997. Mike White’s team will be looking for a much longer stay than the one in 2025. As a No. 9 seed, they were crushed by eighth-seeded Gonzaga 89-68.
Saint Louis is making its first tournament appearance since 2019. The Billikens, the Atlantic 10 regular season champions, are in the field via an at-large berth.
Tipoff from KeyBank Center in Buffalo between Georgia and Saint Louis is scheduled for 9:55 p.m. ET after the Michigan-Howard game. As you can see below, the latest Kalshi market is relatively tight, but the Bulldogs have the edge.
