MENDON, N.Y. — On Thursday around 12:30 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s Office deputies got a report of a two-car accident involving a cement truck and an SUV in the intersection of Mile Square Road and Victor-Mendon Road. The diver of the SUV has life-threatening-injuries, deputies tell us.
The female driver is a woman, and was taken to a local hospital, remaining in critical condition, the cement truck driver was uninjured, the report says.
A witness told investigators that the cement truck was going east on Victor-Mendon Road, as the SUV traveled south on Mile Square Road when the SUV pulled out in front of a stop sign and the oncoming truck at the intersection.
Deputies say the truck hit the SUV on the passenger side, ending in both vehicles being towed due to the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
