Peter Kraus and wife Hana Ostapchuk are brand-new parents! While the Season 13 runner-up didn’t win Rachel Lindsay’s heart (or hand), it looks like he’s done pretty well for himself.
The fitness entrepreneur and business owner wed the “Hey Hana” podcast host in Jupiter, Florida, last December. The couple initially announced their pregnancy news shortly after getting engaged. Ostapchuk posted an adorable Instagram belly bump pic and beachy vacation video with her then-fiancé, writing, “A new chapter, the best chapter. One week after our engagement, we got the surprise of our lives.”

I had my heart set on it being a girl. But in the last two weeks, I have come full circle to say I’m pretty sure it’s a boy.”
Kraus added that during the ultrasound, he felt, “It’s a boy, I’m certain.” The expectant mom weighed in, “I have thought since baby has been in my belly, like since day one, I’ve been like oh this is a girl, I don’t know why. I really think it’s a girl.”

The former Bachelorette reality TV star and his wife announced the momentous occasion on Instagram, posting a carousel of cute pics with the caption, “Our sweet Andie girl is here. Born on Saturday afternoon, just hours before the biggest blizzard of the season - just as it was almost 40 years ago on Peter’s birthday.” The new parents went on to write, “We each prayed for this baby girl long before we ever met. We talked about the idea of her since our first date. To now have here here - healthy, happy, and bundled - is the greatest gift.”
In a heartfelt shout-out to the healthcare pros who helped make Andie’s big birth day possible and their family, Kraus and Ostapchuk gushed, “Thank you to the incredible nurses and staff at Meriter Hospital for such a beautiful birthing experience. And thank you to our parents, who were there for her arrival and continue to support us every single day. It truly takes a village - and we are so grateful for ours.”
