Rutledge, 37, has been a familiar face to college sports fans for more than a decade. A Florida alumna, she joined ESPN and began appearing on the SEC Network in 2014.

In May 2017, the SEC Network announced that Rutledge would be the new host of SEC Nation, the network’s traveling SEC football pregame show in the style of ESPN’s College GameDay. Rutledge succeeded Maria Taylor in the hosting role.

In addition to SEC Nation, Rutledge has kept busy in multiple roles, including as a sideline reporter and NFL studio host. Per Marchand, she is expected to keep her role as a college football sideline reporter. In 2025, she became a Monday Night Football sideline reporter. She hosts NFL Live and is expected to be part of ESPN’s Super Bowl coverage in February 2027.

Barrie joined ESPN in March 2013. He has served numerous roles at ESPN, including SportsCenter anchor and college football studio host. SEC Nation features analysis from Paul Finebaum, Tim Tebow, Roman Harper, Jordan Rodgers, Marty Smith, Ryan McGee and others.
